What berries can be picked with the Poimu berry picker?
Both Poimu berry picker models are designed for picking all Finnish wild berries. In addition to the most commonly picked berries, lingonberry and blueberry, Poimu also works for picking bog bilberry and crowberry.
How much does a metal berry picker weigh?
The Large Poimu weighs 775 grams empty and the Small Poimu 530 grams.
How is Poimu kept in good condition?
Poimu can be washed with water and regular dish soap. Due to the wooden handle, Poimu must not be washed in a dishwasher. During the picking season the picker does not necessarily need to be washed, but washing it at the end of the season makes it pleasant to bring out again the following autumn.
What if Poimu breaks during use?
Poimu berry pickers are designed for very intensive use, and no part should be able to break during berry picking. If damage does occur, Poimu’s tines and handle parts are replaceable, and the basket can be straightened to a certain extent. Contact our customer service for advice or spare parts.
