Description
The rake picker is a berry rake developed for professional berry picking. It is a convenient tool especially for picking blueberries and lingonberries, but also works excellently for picking cranberries. The picker is used to rake berries from the bushes into a separate picking container, such as a tub.
The rake picker’s handle is birch treated with wood oil, and it tapers slightly from top to bottom. Grip tape is commonly used on the handle to improve grip — you can purchase it from the Poimu online store. The handle can be shortened, so the rake picker is suitable for berry pickers of all sizes.
Text and images can be engraved on the picker, such as the picker’s name or a company logo. Browse the engraving product.

Instructions for using the rake picker
The rake picker’s “rake-like” structure helps to detach berries from the bushes efficiently. Place a separate picking container behind the berries and the rake picker in front of them. Pull the berries from the bushes with a slow, smooth motion directly into the picking container.
The picking container is chosen based on the picker’s height so that the picker can use the rake picker with an almost straight back. For a picker who is 170 cm tall, a suitable picking container would be, for example, a tub of approximately 40 litres.

Olen todella tyytyväinen. Poimuri saapui viikon luvattua aiemmin joten ehdin testata sitä vielä tällä mustikkakaudella. Poimintanopeuteni on tällä kolminkertainen tavalliseen markettipoimuriin verrattuna eikä selkä rasitu. Poiminta-astiaksi hankin 40l vesisaavin josta tyhjennän marjat 10l ämpäreihin metsässä. Myös suoraan 10l ämpäriin kerääminen onnistuu mutta silloin pitää olla vähintään kaksi ämpäriä mukana.
